Modifying Tunisia’s 5G (NR NSA) Technical Specifications
[edit]I thought of discussing the matter first.
All three mobile operators, Orange Tunisie, Tunisie Télécom and Ooredoo Tunisie have commercially deployed their 5G services as of the midnight of 14 February 2025. Prior to that, the three operators formally signed conventions with the president of the Tunisian government on 30 November 2024, and formal ministry orders granting permission have been published in the Official Journal of The Republic of Tunisia on 23 January 2025.
The Ministry of Communication Technologies has allocated 5 MHz TDD of 700 MHz (n28) spectrum and 100 MHz TDD of 3.5 GHz (n78) spectrum for each mobile operator. The ministry has also set aside three blocks of 20 MHz and said that it would be made available upon the request of the mobile operators.
