Re-Adding of Flash Gordon Reboot to the list here.

[edit]

With the revival of the Flash Gordon reboot revived and there’s nothing been announced no one else has announced they’ve taken over distribution and production rights wouldn’t it mean it’s still with this studio? 0Detail-Attention215 (talk) 05:26, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 23 August 2021: "In development" section

[edit]

I think there should be an "In development" section for this article because on List of Walt Disney Studios films (2020-2029), there are 20th Century Fox movies in the In development section (including a Free Guy sequel and a The Simpsons Movie sequel). Could you add that section to this article?

Films in development

[edit]

Just a reminder to everyone: A studio saying a film is "in development" is fairly meaningless until it enters production. Studios develop many more projects than they produce. Some editors seem to think that any announcement that a film is "in development" is a guarantee that it will be produced. A list of projects in development is already a bad idea on a list like this, but adding projects that were last reported on almost ten years ago is absurd. @ZX2006XZ: Please explain why you are reverting my edits. We do not have articles on films in development (WP:NFF). This is because we do not know if they will ever enter production. There is no evidence to suggest the films will ever be made. They could potentially remain in development hell or become inactive. Including them here is purely WP:CRYSTAL so it would be better to remove them. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 13:40, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can we add the new Deadpool movie here?

[edit]

Since the trailer just dropped and confirmed the studio's involvement, is it possible to add the movie here? Thanks. Mattgelo (talk) 23:57, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would say so. They are listed as the copyright holder, alongside Marvel, at the very end of the teaser trailer after all. So for now I think we should specify "copyright only" like we do with the animated Wimpy Kid films, for example, until we know for certain that they actually co-produced it, since at the very least they are being credited for the time being. Aye. SlySabre has the right idea. ToNeverFindTheMets (talk) 22:18, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Welp, another poster for the new Fantastic Four film also lists 20th Century Studios as the copyright holder. SlySabre (talk) 20:26, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Separate section in article for theatrical re-releases.

[edit]

20th Century has re-released various movies during this time period concerned in the article. It would be more informative to add these movies in a separate section to avoid confusion. Ultimately, I can find no standards and practices forbidding this, and it would serve to increase information on this article. All in favour, say "aye", and those not, say "nay". The 2021 20th Century Studios logo keeps getting removed and replaced with the regular logo, because the 2021 logo is mainly used for Hulu films. I'd like to say that despite being mainly used for Hulu films, the 2021 logo is still a corporate logo for 20th Century Studios. It's just a horizontal version of it. It has been used on a book cover for A Haunting in Venice, a theatrical film. Just because the 2021 logo is mainly for Hulu, that does not mean it's not a corporate logo. With this being said, I hope that we can all come to an agreement about the 2021 logo's presence in this article and prevent an edit war from escalating. ZX2006XZ (talk) 12:34, 27 March 2024 (UTC) The 2020 logo is more widely used and it’s on the website. And it appeared on a Funko Pop figure for Anastasia.[reply]

The 2020 logo is more widely used and it’s on the website. And it appeared on a Funko Pop figure for Anastasia. 2600:1006:B1A6:A3E3:B8A2:6A83:F283:16DC (talk) 15:51, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The 2020 is also the logo used on the website. 2600:1006:B1A6:A3E3:B8A2:6A83:F283:16DC (talk) 15:54, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The 2020 logo is better than the 2021 logo. 2600:1006:B1A6:A3E3:B8A2:6A83:F283:16DC (talk) 15:56, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So what can we do with it? Protecting it from editing disputes? SolshineBenie (talk) 18:20, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
