Southern, Colorado

[edit]

The article originally said she grew up in "Southern, Colorado", but I cannot find any reference to a town named Southern in Colorado on Wikipedia or on the Web. Thus, I'm assuming it should be southern Colorado. If someone can verify the existance of this town, please change it back. -- Zawersh 03:50, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fan page?

[edit]

Right now the article reads more like a fan page than an encyclopedia article. The information on her family (on down to their current jobs) is way more information than is appropriate for an article; I'm sure they're very nice people, but it appears they're non-notable from the Wikipedia standpoint. (I've been a middle-school Spanish teacher myself, so I'm certainly not putting down her brother! :) The section on her work sounds like material from a press release (e.g., "starred in countless plays" — she's young enough that one definitely can count them). Then there's the list of personal information that sounds straight out of IMDb or her agent's press kit. Don't get me wrong ... she belongs in Wikipedia. We just need to clean up the article. Done. Removed the "personal information" section, reformatted headings so information is grouped, took out info on father's and brother's professions for now (if either is independently notable, put 'em back), and did a slight rewrite of the work sections for more encyclopedic tone and better flow. To the anon

[edit]

Can you please watch what you are doing. Individual year or months are not linked. Things like Pueblo, Colorado should only be linked once. You need to look at what articles you are linking to. Two examples, you linked Pueblo but that is a lot different to Pueblo, Colorado and you linked to Roncalli, a disambiguation page, which is of no help to anybody. When you capitalise "southern" it makes it appear to be the name of a place in Colorado and the link, like Roncalli, goes to a disambiguation page, which is confusing. Do you mean that she grew up in the southern part of the state or is there a small place called "Southern" in Colorado? Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 01:08, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The link on page as "http://www.tv.com/lise-simms/person/2247/biography." (TV.com) is incorrect. Replace it to "http://www.tv.com/lise-simms/person/2247/biography.html". I'm newbie and haven't recommends to do it :-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexander Gorbylev (talkcontribs) 13:45, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
