I agree, this picture is not nice. She looks so much better. Please, change it. But there are copy rights, right? Daggi from Germany. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.7.3.188 (talk) 10:30, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

if you own the copyright on any images then please upload it to wikipedia, it's sad that studio's or the person in question don't release a copyright free image Markthemac (talk) 00:18, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Edelstein being Jewish

Why should this be stated in the introductory sentence about her? It's silly enough that we keep categorizing people this way; but to make it part of what defines her first and foremost seems wrong to me. --Leifern 20:02, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I'd add something about the fact that her name makes it obvious, but apparently pronunciation guides are needed now.

Also add that she is an Ashkenazi jew. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.25.76.172 (talk) 15:33, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

No. Why should I? What am I, your Shabbas Goy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.171.176.39 (talk) 06:46, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

What's so important about her being Jewish that it merits being the first adjective applied to her? I'm tempted to add some sarcastic remarks about adding "Idiot-American" to some others' bio pages, but good taste persuades me not to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fleefl (talkcontribs) 18:23, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Is there any relation to Natalie Portman's mother Shelley Stevens? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.223.31.219 (talk) 02:33, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

Birth date

Hm, I'm not sure. Is her birth date realy 1966? I read most time 1967. I'm searching for a source. See you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.7.3.188 (talk) 10:39, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

True. Here she was asked about her 40th birthday that year. So its 1967 instead of 1966. Saemikneu (talk) 15:26, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

pronounciation

I think her last name should be pronounced to rhyme with "Einstein" (and not Edels-teen)... I know Americans pronounce everything as they like, but they're mostly wrong... Jorge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.161.136.141 (talk) 07:17, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

"Edelstein" seems to be a german word. Is her family from germany maybe her grand parents ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.174.1.135 (talk) 01:28, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Edelstein IS a german word - literally it means noble stone, translated it means gem--Kai.pedia (talk) 23:00, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Club Kid

The Career sections says that the NY Times magazine dubbed her a celebutante and offers a citation. The citation offered is not to the NYTimes magazine. Instead the citation is a series of three linked articles, none of which mention Lisa Edelstein. The book cited may actually discuss Lisa Edelstein, I don't have a copy of it to verify. If it is true, the text of the article should be changed to reflect that the book, not the NY Times magazine called her a celebutante. If it was actually the NYTimes magazine, the citation should go to the correct source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.102.49.101 (talk) 15:26, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

I moved the link about the book that WAS attached to the NYTimes magazine quote up to the previous sentence that cites the book. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.102.49.101 (talk) 15:32, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Appearance/Movement

Funny how Wiki project's ban on "original research" prevents us from mentioning something that's obvious to anybody who's seen her in any of her parts: the only way this woman can not look sexy is to hold absolutely still. The minute she moves, she projects sex. That's what made her a perfect match for Laurie on The West Wing, as well as such a great love interest for Greg House.

Oh well... 76.168.193.190 (talk) 14:00, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Revise "Personal" section?

Do we need to revise this section? It seems to be a magazine article rater than an encyclopedia - dogs, yoga, where she lives? --BweeB (talk) 19:57, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
