Scattering in other contexts
[edit]The Lippmann-Schwinger equation can also be used to prescribe the scattering amplitude for electromagnetic or even sound waves across a region of varying material parameters (respectively speeds of light and sound in the medium). I think this article would benefit from some additions to reflect how the Lippmann-Schwinger equations are applicable to more than just quantum mechanics. Scattering theory context
[edit]This article needs much more information. There is large part on S-matrix context, which does not belong here. I will move it elsewhere and modify it. I am working on introductory article on Quantum Scattering Theory in general. If you have some comments on the topic please contact me. MJCizek (talk) 12:50, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
