Measurements bold
[edit]Why are the measurements bold? It's not done on any other article and to my knowledge is not a policy of Wikipedia's Elspooky (talk) 16:13, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- (Pinging Sauriazoicillus) I have to agree here; we don't do it on any other articles, and the numbers already stand out because they're numbers. I'm also not sure why these values are so important compared to, for example, the characters listed in the diagnosis for the genus. --Slate Weasel [Talk - Contribs] 21:47, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- The goal of these articles is to allow laymen to understand things better, and most laymen want to know measurements and weight e.c.t. For people like me who have trouble reading it's incredibly hard to pick this information out of an article, and even once we've found it we have trouble finding it again. The reason why it's not present in other articles is due to a lack of understanding of the need for accessibility, notice how many skeletals are bright white despite it being really uncomfortable to look at for light sensitive people? You are right in saying it's not a policy of Wikipedia's and I won't claim it is, but as someone who knows these sorts of struggles I feel it's my job as an editor as well to make these articles as accessible as I can Sauriazoicillus (talk) 01:36, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
