Paris Transatlantic article

[edit]

Hello, I am the author of the Paris Transatlantic article utilized in the external links section. The original article contains a factual error: Lindsay Cooper did NOT play in Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells (her namesake bassist Lindsay L. Cooper did, in fact). I am unable to have the original article corrected, but have posted the "right" version here: http://massimoricciparis.wordpress.com/2011/12/06/lindsay-cooper/

Kind regards, Massimo Ricci 79.22.218.152 (talk) 21:10, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the updated link to the External links section. The Lindsay Cooper article already states that she did not play on Tubular Bells. Thanks for the update. —Bruce1eetalk 08:14, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tubular Bells

[edit]

There appears to be no mention of Lindsay's involvement on Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, even though their other projects together are listed. The album's sleeve notes state: String Bases - Lindsay Cooper. 115.131.247.154 (talk) 08:33, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That would be the bass player Lindsay L. Cooper? Martinevans123 (talk) 08:40, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is Lindsay L. Cooper, as linked in the Tubular Bells "Personnel" section. —Bruce1eetalk 08:44, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
