[edit]I have placed a "Press release" tag on the article, and restored it after it was removed by the original contributor. The article still reads like a press release, with an excessive amount of poorly sourced over personal material, and inclusion of minor material. I removed the worst of it--the list of articles and essays, which does not belong in a normal WP article on a scholar-any particular individual influential one can be mentioned in the article itself if there is third party evidence to show its influence. And it would help to remove all the exhibition catalogs to the section on them. I revised the books to indicate co-aiuthors and editors for those titles where it had been omitted. - Dear DGG, I'm a new Wikipedia editor, having recently attended various workshops and the WikiConference. I appreciate your feedback, and ask for your help in making this biographical page in compliance with Wikipedia standards. I'll remove the section on exhibition catalogs. Please let me know what else will help improve this article. Many thanks. Netherzone (talk) 00:31, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
- @DGG: Dear DGG, I responded to your comment in August, and revised the page as per your standards. The subject of this article is a scholar who has worked in the field of art history for decades, published many books and exhibition catalogs, curated many exhibitions, This entry is part of the Wikipedia Art + Feminism project. To my mind the article does not read like a press release. May I take off your tag now, or if you object to that, I kindly ask that you remove it. Many thanks and happy holidays. - Good enough. I removed some overuse of her name & a few words, and did some formatting--we don;t keep full caps in book and article titles. 1 minor point: you should try to find ISBN numbers for the books, and cite them from WorldCat. DGG ( talk ) 05:59, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- @DGG: Thank you very much for your help with this. It is appreciated. I will continue to improve the page, and find ISBN numbers as you suggest. Also add additional citations. Netherzone (talk) 15:13, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
