[edit]

This article contains a "Controversy" section that mentions "Many of the Kickstarter backers felt betrayed by Liukas". The citation is titled "Kickstarter Backers Betrayed by Linda Liukas" but the title seems to be invented and the citation links to a comments page on Kickstarter.

Is this a normal thing to include in Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.20.20.153 (talk) 02:13, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is not normal or adequate to use a general comment section as a source. I removed the Controversy section based on Wikipedia's Notice about sources; contentious material (text copied below).

Notice about sources This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. Take extra care to use high-quality sources. Material about living persons should not be added when the only sourcing is tabloid journalism; see more information on sources. Never use self-published sources about a living person unless written or published by the subject; see WP:BLPSPS and WP:BLPSELFPUB.

Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous. If such material is repeatedly inserted, or if you have other concerns, please report the issue to this noticeboard. If you are connected to one of the subjects of this article and need help, see this page.
