Mites on domestic animals

[edit]

Sulfurated lime is used as a topical treatment for mites on domestic animals (especially dogs). This is mentioned on the page for mange. Perhaps somebody with veterinary credentials can add some discussion of this use to this article. Karl Hahn (T) (C) 14:32, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

use as an oxidising agent in metallurgy.

[edit]

I have been reading online how to create oxide layers on metals. I read that lime sulphur is used as an alternative to liver of sulphur. Should this be included? 90.193.233.41 (talk) 13:27, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No Chemical name for Lime Sulfur

[edit]

It would be useful to have the chemical name at the beginning of the article. Have to say this stuff really stinks, enough to give you a headache. 116.251.185.239 (talk) 05:48, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
