I changed the picture for this plant. Im sorry if it upsets anyone, freely change it back. But I believe this picture shows a better view of the plant than the previously posted image. -- IvanTortuga 06:11, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The current photo looks like L. lancifolium, (formerly L. tigrinum), rather than L. michiganense. Detrout (talk) 18:26, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Whorled leaves

Leaf whorls on a michigan lily stem

This photo may be of use in the eventual development of this page, since the pattern of leaf whorls on the stem is the most obvious feature distinguishing the North American michigan lily from the Eurasian tiger lily.Douglas W. Jones (talk) 03:08, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
