Case for merging
[edit]The description of the pack is the same as the ALICE: "a nylon pack with a... top flap and three exterior pockets and a tubular aluminum frame with padded shoulder straps and waist belt." Look at any picture of an ALICE and that's what it is. This pack's frame is riveted: "The next improvement came along in 1965, when the frame was changed to a riveted version rather than a welded one." So is the ALICE. - meant to say that this would be merged into ALICE pack CR055H41RZ (talk) 04:56, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- Reading through the history of the ALICE page, it seems that the Lightweight Rucksack is part of a historical series of rucksacks from M-1956 Load-Carrying Equipment, through Lightweight Rucksack ('67-'73) to ALICE ('73 onwards) to the MOLLE series. There seems to be enough to say on each of these, separately, to keep to pages distinct but linked. Klbrain (talk) 13:30, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
