[edit]With the greatest thanks to whoever wrote the original stub, you need to edit this for accuracy.
Dame Ngaio also re-used Nigel Bathgate (the "Dr Watson" analog) in several earlier novels, and Mr Benenden (solicitor) in AMLD and DIE. Then (to take you literally) there'd be Agatha, Ricky, Christina....
And (I think) several titled characters recur between AIC, DIAWT, SOL; or perhaps references don't count and they have to actually appear?
Why don't I change it myself? Because my Marsh scholarship is probably not as good as yours, and the criteria are not entirely obvious. Shannock9 (talk) 01:59, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Need Plot summary
[edit]This article has no Plot summary. Perhaps Shannock9 can write one? It requires reading the book and putting together a concise summary, including the ending, naming the victims and the killer(s). I broke up the text left by some previous editor into usual sections for an article about a novel. Citations are needed, otherwise all that prose is Original Research, and Wikipedia wants views already published by others, not the opinions of editors. I have not read this Marsh book, so I cannot come up with a plot summary. - - Prairieplant (talk) 02:33, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
