Vandalism

[edit]
someone completly destroy all the page research of one of the icon chair of the italian design history.

Look about... --Alec Smithson (talk) 15:33, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That "someone" was me. I have done my best to turn this into an encyclopaedia article, though to be honest I am not sure that the topic meets our notability requirements. I certainly had considerable difficulty finding sources with more than a cursory passing mention. Nevertheless, I have added those sources I did find, made sure that the text reflects what they actually say about the topic, and removed a lot of unsubstantiated puff added by another editor (you, to be precise, Alec Smithson). Please read about verifiability.
Also, if you translate an article from it.wp as you appear to have tried to do here, you must place a {{translated}} templated on the talk page to provide attribution for the work done by the Italian editors who wrote that content. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:58, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Dear JustLetterSandnumbers, I ask to wait and think before your mood to erase completly history and long library research.

Maybe you don't know or you don't ve interest for design, but is famous for all the italian design is the most important worldwide. I am sure that these chair had the notability 100%, but is something that all the people know. Is only easy to know these beacuse the designer are the Castiglioni bros, the fathers of the italian design.

The chair had a total notability, there is a famous "intellectual doubt". If you do not know something maybe WAIT to completely erase an important work.

You can see a bibliography easy.

  • Sergio Polano, Achille Castiglioni, Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002), 2006 - Pagina 173
  • Giuliana Gramigna, Sergio Mazza, Repertorio del design italiano 1950-2000 per l'arredamento, 2003
  • Sergio Polano, Achille Castiglioni: tutte le opere, 1938-2000, 2001 - Pagina 173
  • Maria Cristina Tommasini, Mario Pancera, Il design italiano: protagonisti, opere, scuole, 1992 - Pagina 79
  • Anty Pansera, Il Design del mobile italiano dal 1946 a oggi, 1990 - Pagina 202
  • Paolo Ferrari, Achille Castiglioni, 1984 - Pagina 338
  • Forme nuove in Italia, 1962 - Pagina 58
  • Paolo Fossati, Il design in Italia, 1945-1972, 1972 - Pagina 226
  • Silvia Cattiodoro, Pier Giacomo 100 volte Castiglioni, Milano, in edibus, 2013, ISBN 8897221173

So please know rebuilt the work that I did with a lot of work and several hours in the night. I was the italian editor of these page and I edit the content. Thank you.

easy to check notability: google! https://www.google.it/search?q=Sedia+lierna&oq=Sedia+lierna&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60j69i59l3j0.1506j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8 --Alec Smithson (talk) 19:12, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Alec Smithson, I saw your bibliography, and found it virtually useless. Let's take look:
And so on. Those are passing mentions, not in-depth discussion. They do nothing to establish notability, and nothing to help improve the article. Including them in a bibliography is quite pointless, and – to be quite honest – a waste of other editors' time.
The first title you list by Polano is identical to the other book by him (presumably a second edition under a different title?); that's already used as a reference, as is the Gramigna book. I can't see what Silvia Cattiodoro says about the chair in Pier Giacomo 100 volte Castiglioni. Could you quote that here in full, it might be helpful (a page number would be good too). Don't worry, I understand Italian. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:45, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The chair is very famous, think that the production was started in 1959 and made also today, the designer are the Castiglioni!!!! the most important designer of the world! history, and the fathers of italian design. Italy is the most important country in the world for design!

New VANDALISM

[edit]

Someone, erase 2 times, the bibliography, without reason, Why? --Alec Smithson (talk) 16:57, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That someone was me, Alec Smithson, as you can easily see from the page history. Please read above (and also my edit summaries) for reasons. It just pointless to keep adding a useless bibliography. Doing so repeatedly could be seen as disruptive. I invite you to withdraw your improper suggestion that my edits were vandalism. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:08, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
the Bibiliography I reported is completely correct, and as indicated by policy wikipedia texts present in the notes, including text that you yourself have reported.

You have once again canceled, without reason, without questions, without writing it to report in any way your retierate cancellation entire bibliography. And this is vandalism, there is no clarity in the interpretation, and what follows your previous offenses to me and attacks that are against the policy of wikipedia. You've come to apologize and even what evidendia your admission that you have repeatedly had against me rude behavior. I believe that each of your attack is a so-called Attack Bold, and persecution, so any continuation will be the subject of my reporting officer, on every front. You are the only one to which I here endure these constant harassment, and I ask you to stop. Otherwise I will have to report your every action. The situation of Lierna Chair is evident. --Alec Smithson (talk) 17:22, 6 October 2015 (UTC) The Bibliography of Lierna Chair, you see history erased reported exactly the texts present in the notes. It has nothing to do with what you wrote. And it once again canceled without reason it justification. What is ACT's Vandalism serious and reckless attack that continued your rudeness and your attacks will continue against me. --Alec Smithson (talk) 17:26, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

VANDALISM and Erased all Bibliography without writing reason

[edit]

He don't ask integration he erase without reason and was very easy to check books these books also online. --Alec Smithson (talk) 20:08, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I did. Check the first one, that is; I stopped after that because we've already had this conversation, higher up this page. So, Alec Smithson, what exactly do you find about this chair, beyond what is already in the article, in this book:
  • Virgilio Vercelloni, Matteo Vercelloni (1989). The adventure of design: Gavina. New York: Rizzoli.
Please feel free to quote all the relevant text here, with page numbers. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 22:30, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
