I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 06:35, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • gold to coin "into coins" sounds better, IMO
Done.
  • No DABs
  • The resulting steel die had to be hardened in Peale's department; as Longacre put it, "it unluckily split in the process". Shouldn't this have a "but" rather than the semi-colon?
I think it can go either way but I'm content as it stands.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:46, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • For symmetry's sake, is more info available on the coins found in Brother Jonathan and Yankee Blade?
Not in the references I have. I'm sure there are, for the Brother Jonathan anyway. I'll look into it.--Wehwalt (talk) 00:52, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I did the Brother Jonathan. I think doing all three would be a bit much, I'd rather remove the name Yankee Blade, as it is not as well known numismatically as the other two.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:18, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Why on Earth would Longacre spell Liberty with 2 Ls?
It didn't make much sense to me, yet there it is. Could be he started the L in the wrong place.--Wehwalt (talk) 00:52, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • What do you mean that the dies were adjusted for the Type III reverse? Are these changes notable/noticeable?
Apparently not, as I can find nothing specific on this. I looked online too. There is only one collectable variety for the 1877. I've played with the language a bit.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:24, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • What's a business strike?
Circulation strike.--Wehwalt (talk) 00:52, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Clarified.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:45, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Add |lastauthoramp=1 to the books with multiple authors to standardize on the ampersand between refs and bibliography.
Done.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:45, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • In the infobox, why does the S in the mint mark entry link to the city and not the mint?
Done.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:24, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Solid review, thanks, the picky stuff is what I'm after, with a good dose of clue. I will work through these not later than tomorrow night (that is, Wednesday night Pacific Daylight Time). My internet is pretty bad right now but should improve tomorrow.--Wehwalt (talk) 00:52, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No rush, just update here whenever you're done.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 05:05, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I believe I've responded to or addressed all these issues.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:47, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
