This page reads like a sales brochure - at a minimum it needs to be shortened greatly, to just notable facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.73.1.165 (talk) 08:38, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It reads as if written by staff at liblime themselves, which is not suitable source for a wikipedia article. Review by neutral person needed. Tanifa (talk) 02:18, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's even worse now, there is blatantly wrong information about patents, trademarks etc —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.78.240.7 (talk) 19:55, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is getting consistently more sales brochure like as staff from PTFS edit the entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ranginui (talkcontribs) 22:20, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Five of the citations link to press releases on liblime's own site, should we remove these? 22:46, 31 January 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ranginui (talkcontribs)

Apparent conflict of interest

[edit]

Jkostoff (talk · contribs) appears to an executive at PTFS [1] [2], if this is right he has an undeclared conflict of interest. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:47, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Koha (software) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RM bot 00:45, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Defense contractor?

[edit]

Is there any particular reason why PTFS is referred to as a defense contractor? What bearing do their other customers have in this context? According to their website, they also contract out to various private and public universities, libraries, and organizations. Do we refer to Microsoft as a defense contractor? Oracle? Google? Jbmcb (talk) 00:41, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure Microsoft, Oracle and Google do this, but PTFS (of which liblime are a division of not their own company for a start). From the PTFS website "PTFS’s Professional Support Services department specializes in staffing for Intelligence Agencies. We focus on providing cleared staff and operations personnel to manage declassification and FOIA initiatives. Our qualified contract staff provides proven FOIA and declassification accuracy and efficiency." So I think that is were it comes from. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.97.214.51 (talk) 20:26, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
