Questions about this article

[edit]

This message was posted on my talk page, which I have copied here with my reply:

Hi Carole, We are very pleased to communicate with you here and receive your encouraging messages. Many of the collecteurs, fun and galeriste are following the wikipedia page of artist Li Chevalier. Some contributors, by mistake, quote published articles from art critics, which seems to have promotional tone . However, the mistake has been corrected, page redited. Despite this effort, the main page of the artist carefully build up several years ago are entirely eliminated. The eliminated categories of the page were conceived according to the model of the majority of the artist's page, including an introduction of her style, a description of her important works etc. Example is the page of artist Xu Bing etc; We would be grateful if you could give us some more guidline, in order to rebuild the page again according to your rules;WKCONTRIBUTION88 (talk) 09:51, 6 August 2017 (UTC) Many thanks. WKCONTRIBUTION88,
I saw that there was content removed from Women artists about this artist in this edit. It seems like things are getting stirred up about this article. It would be good to post this message on the article talk page.
I'll also take a peak.–CaroleHenson (talk) 10:01, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
WKCONTRIBUTION88,
Are you, by chance, the same user as Apalc1961. If so, please see WP:Sockpuppetry.
Based on the fact that right now both accounts are focused on this article, the previous content was primarily sourced to her gallery, and there have been several editors that have worked to clean-up and maintain control of the article, I will hold off at this moment.–CaroleHenson (talk) 10:08, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

To find reliable sources, try

Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL. For the first link Li Chevalier, a basic google search, and WP Reference please see WP:RS and WP:INDEPENDENT... and avoid WP:Primary sources.

I recommend checking news, newspapers, books, NYT, and the last one "WP reference" first, but avoid blogs, self-published books, and books from Wikipedia info.–CaroleHenson (talk) 16:47, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
