Telamon Meaning
[edit]Telamon at first appears to just be the last name of Lews Therin. I challenge this due to much evidence in the translation of the old tongue. There are two things that immediately come to mind; Tel'Aran'Rhiod, and Siswai'Amon. We know the meaning of both of those phrases. And not an approximated meaning, but a precise meaning. Tel'Aran'Rhiod means The Unseen World. Siswai'Amon is Spears of the Dragon. Both translations have their ambiguity, but when you combine this with Algai'd'Siswai things start to come together. Telamon is a TITLE, a title that means "the dragon", not a part of his given name. One could say Rand Al'Thor Telamon. Or call Rand Lord Amon. ;) Kght22 (talk) 11:05, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Mass murderer?
[edit]I'm removing that category. He's never portrayed as killing several innocent people (killing many in war is not mass murder - it's war - read the mass murder page first!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.97.224.24 (talk) 09:56, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- He killed basically his entire family, as well as his wife. Then he committed suicide. Sounds like mass murder to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.129.74.37 (talk) 00:49, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
LTT = Rand
[edit]This article doesn't emphasize that Lews Therin Telamon is Rand. This conclusion can be drawn from the large use of "we" in The Gathering Storm to describe them both. And LTT being silenced is a product of Rand coming to terms with the fact that he is LTT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.151.180.129 (talk) 22:50, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Book 12
[edit]This article seems to be inaccurate considering the explanation in the chapter Veins of Gold in Book 12. LTT is not separate from Rand, and he comes to grips with this, thus ending the voice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.250.7.162 (talk) 19:04, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
