Place of birth

Edinburgh Evening News says here that he was "from Kingsknowe". But that may not be enough to support the claim he was born there. The Scotsman says here merely that he was "Edinburgh-born", as does IMDb here. Are there any other better sources? Martinevans123 (talk) 21:44, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
