Article tone

[edit]

What happened to this article? This seems like someone copy and pasted from the website. I understand the enthusiasm, but it seems like an advertising - complete with a phone number in the text? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Terrenjpeterson (talkcontribs) 02:47, 26 May 2008

An overzealous employee or fan I suppose, I've added a cleanup tag. -- MiG (talk) 08:54, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've acted on that cleanup tag, improving the tone to a more encyclopedic one. I looked to see if this text was copied from some copyright source but didn't find any. It appears to be an editor who meant well but ended up including a lot of original research which was incorrectly tagged as coming from a single brief history page on the official website. The previous version, particularly the history section, read more like a promotional brochure for the property and biography of the family. The language has been made more neutral, more references used and cited, and appropriate links added to Ginter's existing biographic article.--MadeYourReadThis (talk) 16:54, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
