Suggested Edits for Accuracy of Levy Restaurants Page

[edit]

Hello everyone, my name is Matt Dicker and I am the Director of Communications for Levy. While reading our company's Wikipedia page recently, I noticed that a great deal of the information is out of date. In following Wikipedia's spirit of avoiding conflicts of interest, I have listed this information below, along with external references supporting the information. I ask for consideration in updating this page to better reflect the current state of Levy. If you have any questions or concerns, I'd be happy to address further.

·Levy Restaurants now goes by the name Levy. Here are a few recent press releases that demonstrate that this is the company's current name. [1] [2] [3]

·The current page lists Levy's revenues in 2004 as exceeding $470 million, with a projection of $600 million. While we don't disclose our revenues, recent projections from the industry publication Sports Business Daily estimates annual revenues of $1.5 billion. [4]

·In the first sentence of the section History, Larry Levy is listed as chairman of the board. Larry Levy no longer plays an active role in the company, but does carry the title of Chairman Emeritus. [5]

·The History section includes discussion of two of our restaurants, Portobello Yacht Club and Fulton's Crab House. While both of these restaurants still operate, both do so under new names. Portobello Yacht Club is now Terralina Crafted Italian, and Fulton's Crab House is now Paddlefish. [6] [7]

·Under locations, Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte is listed. This arena is now known as Spectrum Center. [8]

·McCormick Place is listed as a location we manage. This is no longer the case.

·While the rest of the locations are accurate, this is a incomplete list, missing many prominent locations. A complete, updated list can be found at www.levyrestaurants.com under Venues & Events. A few notable missing locations are Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the University of Notre Dame.

[9] [10] [11]

·I would suggest that the "International locations" section be removed in its entirety. Levy UK is a separate sector of Compass Group UK and is not part of Levy. While Levy does work closely with this sector, Levy does not operate these locations. [12]
