Title

[edit]

Any suggestion on the title would be welcome, since I intend to add mention of structures other than residences (clubs, churches, installation installations, farmhouses) built -principally in the 19th century- by İzmir's residents of European origin, with an eye on making a clear distinction from constructions which were built by and bearing the styles of all other ethnicities and those which were results of pure foreign investments. I could think of "Levantine heritage of İzmir" but it seemed to sound to pompous as a title for an encyclopedia article, and I could think of "Levantine buildings of İzmir" but it seemed to lack of finesse just a tiny little weeny bit.
