Flora's Theological Status

[edit]

There has been debate about whether or not Flora was a Christian that Ptolemy was attempting to influence (making him more sinister), or whether she was sympathetic to his teachings. I simply made her identity to "woman" to make it more neutral. 208.105.125.98 (talk) 19:20, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

date, please

[edit]

As a lay reader, a rough estimate of the date of really any historical information would help very much. I recently read about Alexander the Great's general named Ptolemy, and came to try to find out if he was the same Ptolemy who wrote the Letter to Flora. I now know he was not, but no thanks to the Letter to Flora page. With a prominently listed date approximation I could have figured out what I wanted to know merely by viewing this page.

I hope someone will read this and update the article to make it more useful to other readers like me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.43.245.117 (talk) 17:18, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
