Support: Merge with Mānuka honey. I have no idea why this stub article wasn't merged already. A couple sentences? The Manuka honey article can bring out the tree name sooner, and it's a done deal from what I see. Others? I would think that whoever suggested the merge would have started this conversation, along with whoever suggested it to him/her. Alrich44 (talk) 21:36, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There was only one sentence in the Leptospermum honey article, "Leptospermum honey is honey made from the tree species Leptospermum, found in New Zealand and Australia." Apparently Medihoney can be made from any variety of Leptospermum tree; where as, Manuka honey is made from only the subspecies Leptospermum scoparium. So, I could not simply merge the Leptospermum honey article into the Manuka honey article. Instead, I added the one sentence content here in Medihoney, redirected the Leptospermum honey article here, and added See also the Manuka honey article.
