Use of "Leptoptilini" as an adjective

[edit]

In the opening sentence of this article, the word "Leptoptilini", apparently a biological tribe of storks to which L. robustus belongs, is used as an adjective. The same phrasing is used in articles about other extinct Leptoptilus species like L. falconeri, L. lüi, and L. patagonicus. It feels awkward to me. Could anyone please tell me if this should be fixed?--Thylacine24 (talk) 19:22, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
