I saw the very bare bones listing for LepreCon and thought I'd add some info about the convention and it appears adding any information to this listing got it marked for a speedy deletion. I'd like to make sure what is and isn't allowed before spending any more time gathering info. If anything, if it can revert to the original minimal stub without getting deleted, that would be better than having it deleted completely.

I've removed the speedy deletion notice; it was an invalid reason for deletion, since this is not written as a "blatant advertisement". In order to really be safe from deletion, the article should cite media coverage of the convention in order to establish its notability. This is a long-running convention so I imagine there probably has been some coverage. Also please be sure to keep it neutral and non-promotional. —Celithemis 09:09, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this out of date? Or is the con no longer existent?

[edit]

I happened on a reference to the con, and looked it up here. Latest info seems to be 2014. Can't help wondering. 2600:1700:6A10:6410:C573:A4B2:2E59:2729 (talk) 00:18, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

?LepreCon 41 was June 25-28, 2015; LepreCon 42 June 23-26, 2016; and LepreCon 43 was July 1-4, 2017 (it was also Westercon 70). LepreCon 44 is as yet TBD. --Orange Mike | Talk 02:30, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
