[edit]id really like to see some more links and references here. I had never heard of this before. Also one of the links Going Places links to info about a CD not a short story or writing. Please add the necessary references. - xsxex
Operation Ivy is not only important as a precursor to Rancid. I'm taking that snippet out (but leaving the part about them being a seminal punk band because fair enough); it's way too far removed from anything Leonard Michaels had to do with.
