[edit]This list is too long. Please select no more than 5 (okay, maybe six). Having this giant list detracts from the article. Clerks. 20:25, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Call for contributions
[edit]Major critics wrote entire books on Leon Golub. It would be easy to expand this skimpy article and do the work justice. Golub looks far less controversial now than he did during his lifetime, when non-objective, Pop and Concept art reigned supreme. When that art "ended," as Danto put it, in the early Seventies-- because after you'd exhibited Brillo Boxes and blank "white paintings" what was left to do?-- Golub was rediscovered. He was hailed as a kind of retro-pioneer reviving figuration and story, and canonized. There's plenty out there about him. Profhum (talk) 11:24, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
