Article development
[edit]I think the next step here is to add some significant buildings/projects of the firm, both early and recent. The new monograph should be a good source for the recent projects. The key is to be able to find pictures of the buildings. Genbenkenob1 (talk) 15:42, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- The key is to find additional independent, reliable coverage about the company, otherwise (however big and old it is) it won't meet Wikipedia's notability requirements. Because of the company's longevity I haven't nominated it for deletion. -- Sionk (talk) 12:55, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- Our colleague Sionk having clearly, and unsuccessfully, striven twd a comprehensible scheme of formatting for WP-talk contribs, i have intervened by applying (just above, and in a further Sionk contrib), what i have found reliably clear in my own work. --Jerzy•t 19:25, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
- Useful online sources in:
- Architectural Record with the main picture and a paragraph crediting Leo A Daly
- Rapid City Journal, crediting Leo A Daly as architects of the Armstrong Physical Education Building project at Chadron State College.

Logo style
[edit]It would seem that Leo A Daly (the firm, not necessarily the perhaps retired person) has vigorously attempted to assert its in-house standard of the SHOUTING FORMATTING for the company name. IMO, two authoritative industry observers (a relevant professional organization and a trade paper in the national capital) ignore the firm's style sheet, while a major newspaper of their home region seems to have (at least) let a proofreader get away with mocking their style by (prominently if not explicitly) innovating with these headings:
- A look at the people behind the numbers in area business:
- MATTHEW JOHNSON leo a. daly
- Title: Vice president, managing principal
It is thus that i am changing to our typical styling in our article, without troubling to hunt down anything in our MOS. --Jerzy•t 19:25, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
