Perhaps add explanation for Blanche Hillyard's runner-up status in 1890
[edit]The article explains that Blanche Hillyard did not participate in Wimbledon 1890, but the result of that year's championship match lists her as the runner-up. This seems contradictory, unless one know that at the time Wimbledon gave the previous year's champion a bye into the final round. Hillyard's results from Wimbledon's archives bear this out. [edit]Ireland at the time was part of the United Kingdom. Is it revisionist history to show the 'Irish' flag? We see Monica Seles with the 'Yugoslavia' flag in 1992?Ryoung122 03:30, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
