[edit]Candidates for office like State Governor are in herently notable. This article is well written, well sourced and contains a neutral point of view. Also, this article provides more information relating to other existing Wikipedia articles, such as Don Goldwater and Arizona gubernatorial election, 2006. --DesertLiving 23:01, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- This article was already deleted once for being non-notable. That is why I tagged it again, so I hope no offense was taken. I don't think there is anything notable about Len Munsil unless he either becomes governor, or does something notable in the mean time. An administrator will decide if this gets deleted as recreation of deleted material (I can't see the old version). If it stays, we can take it to Articles for Deletion and see if we can obtain a community consensus.
- It should also be noted that the original article that was deleted was created by an editor connected to Munsil's campaign. --Aguerriero (talk) 23:11, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's been a long time, but I just saw this post! As I recall, I am the one who created the original article. To set the record straight: it is true that Len Munsil is my nephew, but it is not true that I was connected to his campaign. (On the other hand, I may have deleted the article I created after I was requested to do so by someone who was connected to his campaign; in that case, the "original article" to which you refer might be another article created later by someone else. In which case, never mind.) WhiteMarlin (talk) 17:05, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
No offense is taken - I did not know a similar article had already been deleted for being non-notable. I simply would argue that a viable candidate for a state-wide office is inherently notable. I'll respect whatever the administrator decides. (I would also like to state that I have no connection to Munsil's campaign.) --User:DesertLiving 19:03, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
