Could link "professional" as I suggested in another similar review.
"in Cardiff he trained" I would put a comma after Cardiff.
"a reserve until " I'm not 100% sure our friends over the pond know what one of those is.
"During the game" match (for variety)

"yearsater" I like it, a bit like Newspeak right?
"at sea.[3][1] " order.
"Davies began his career.." football career (you mentioned previously that trained as a marine engineer)
"against England" suitable link?
"in 1919.[1] He made" merge, that first sentence is very brief.
"for their tie against" ***tie klaxon*** (just reading comments on my FAC from a Canadian ice hockey fan has reminded me that "tie" means all manner of different things...)
"in the top tier" link English football league system?

"prolific in the Welsh Cup," overlinked.

"attempt "There " probably needs some punctuation or some neat way of introducing this quote rather than just a run-on from the prose.

"Mostyn House School, Parkgate" comma after Parkgate.
"International goals" table is not sortable (?) so no need to relink things. If (however) you make it sortable, please relink the Home Championships each time.
Tables need row and col scopes.
