[edit]removed this: (it's fabrication) They are also unusual in that, despite notoriously living the rock and roll lifestyle to a "level of sexual and narcotic excess that makes Motley Crue look like choirboys", their 'Band Of The People' image and Old Labour roots mean they refuse to travel anywhere in any vehicle but a red bus. This makes appearing in foreign cities with buses of other colours (New York, Paris etc.) problematic. For UK tours they usually hop on the first London bus they see and bribe the driver to take them where they need to go. So far, Prestwick has been the furthest they've managed to get this way.[citation needed]
Genre
[edit]lemon jelly is "brain dance" ... and electronica is a nonsense genre that doesnt exist with the official electronic music genre standards and classification consortium, so I have removed electronica

alternative rock
[edit]I think this should at least be considered as a genre, since a lot of their songs seem to incorporate a kind of alternative rock feel.
