Linkback Issue

[edit]

Paradise Syndrome links back to this article, which then compares Leisure Sickness *TO* Paradise Syndrome. Something cannot be similar-to-but-different-than something else and still by synonymous enough for one to link directly to the other. Thus I have removed the linkback and blanked the page for Paradise Syndrome. CouplandForever (talk) 10:56, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

I think this the same thing as Paradise Syndrome because neither term is specific and both terms are used by the same people, non-psychologists talking about rich people. ~~Andrew Keenan Richardson~~ 16:38, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I dissagree, reading both articles it appears that you don't need to be rich to suffer from leisure sickness, which is simply a symptom of being a "workaholic" while paradise syndrome is a result of having accoplished everything that someone wanted to accoplish and becoming depressed. if anything this article hould be merged with the workaholic article as they amount to one and the same thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.72.9.24 (talk) 13:31, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of References

[edit]

There are no reputable sources refernced in the article, only a colection of newspapers. Inclusion of a Jounal article would improve reliablity greatly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.10.219.126 (talk) 12:17, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Evaluation

[edit]

There is no way to prove that "Leisure Sickness" is the cause of those symptoms; there are too many factors. There needs to be more concrete evidence.Nicolasa11 (talk) 19:17, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
