Partial match concerns

@Boleyn - I typed "Leigh Mallory" into the box looking for info about the climber and was sent to a page about the airman. I could have put a "you may be looking for blah" tag at the top of that page, but this is less intrusive. Drutt (talk) 14:10, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Although it appears that George Leigh Mallory is a partial match and that Trafford Leigh-Mallory should be the primary, some sources do refer to the climber as George Herbert Leigh-Mallory (a redirect also exists for this title), so I think this dab page is valid. It might however be best to move the page to Leigh-Mallory with Leigh Mallory being the redirect, as this would avoid any possible confusion about whether the items are partial matches. Removed cleanup tag on the basis that Leigh Mallory is a double-barrelled surname, and so is as valid as any of the other thousand+ surnames pages we have. France3470 (talk) 17:16, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
