[edit]Bah... BitTorrent is a protocol, it cannot be illegal. It's how people use it what could be illegal. If people start putting copyrighted material on their FTP servers, will they say FTP is illegal? It's just a damned protocol 201.212.126.164 18:22, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- exactly, i mean, people use http, ftp, irc *checks list of protocols* and all other file transferring protocols to transfer copyrighted stuff, why not just BAN THE INTERNET... yeah, good luck... - Gunnar Guðvarðarson 18:59, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Trying not to go offtopic, apple didnt accept a BT remote to the app store, claiming it to be illegal, when they should have banned safari, since it can download illegal material by HTTP Ms.henrick (talk) 13:01, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Is the "See Also" section blank for any particular reason? --142.227.9.1 (talk) 15:37, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
I find the lack of discussion on this talk page somewhat suspicious. FU, RIAA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.23.29.238 (talk) 15:28, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
Copyrighted files can be legal to download if the owner of the copyright have given his permission for people to download his files for free — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.21.210.36 (talk) 21:30, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
