Leeds and City of Leeds confusion

This page says this Leeds is a city and metropolitan borough. The City of Leeds local government district page says that Leeds is a city and metropolitan borough and that it contains this Leeds plus other towns. Is this a case of a city within a city and a metropolitan borough within a metropolitan borough? Can anyone confirm that the smaller Leeds kept its city and metropolitan borough statuses when the larger City of Leeds was given its city and metropolitan borough statuses. I understand that in the case of Bradford this was not the case, that the smaller Bradford lost its city and metropolitan borough statuses when these statuses were transferred to the larger City of Bradford local government district. If the smaller Leeds did keep the statuses some clarification at the beginning of the article might be helpful. Dab14763 (talk) 02:50, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi Dab14763, I've amended the wording on the City Of Leeds page, removing the anomaly you have pointed out. Razorlax (talk) 20:07, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
