[edit]I've added in some research citations, but given that I work in a university currently considering lecture recording, others may feel that I have chosen positive sources to support its use. perhaps someone can find some published evidence against? Needs 3rd-part sources
[edit]I suggest using reviews from sites like CNET, the Chronicle of Higher Education, or EDUcause. Allens (talk) 16:55, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Invitation to advertise
[edit]I think we need to abbreviate the "solutions" section to not have the page be so dominated by various promotions of corporate technologies. Otherwise the page becomes a clearinghouse for soapboxing. --Jprg1966 (talk) 16:39, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed. Material regarding features (and limitations!) that various pieces of software have can be moved into an appropriately-named section pair; the rest can be abbreviated to a simple listing of names of software. Allens (talk | contribs) 19:49, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- It seems to me that the information presented in that section is useful, but is loaded with emotional jargon which makes it sound as though each solution provider wrote his or her own blurb. I would like to see the information retained, and only the promotional phrasing corrected. (Perhaps this is what was meant by the previous comment? I'm uncertain ...)
