Speculation
[edit]I was just wondering if we can really post speculative US/English names and its method of evolution from Eevee. Shouldn't all this reflect facts and not rumours and/or personal suggestions? If enough people agree here, then we can remove the speculation in this article. -- DarkS Umbreon 14:39, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- You are correct. As this is an encyclopedia, we cannot post speculation. --Nintenfreak 21:17, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Is there any way someone could post some sort of disclaimer or statement that mentions that Leafia is the Japanese name and no English (or other language) name for it officially exists yet? -- Nick15 09:10, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Name criticism
[edit]It states in the article, and I quote, "This Pokémon has been criticized for not having a name with the suffix "-eon" as other Eevee evolutions do." My question is, who criticizes it, and why isn't Glacia subject to the same criticism? -Jeske (SHOUT!) 22:00, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- This only refers to the Japanese name. The other names:
- For all we know, it'll be Chloreon. DanPMK 05:07, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ah. Makes sense. -Jeske (SHOUT!) 12:36, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah. There is an overwhelming chance that both creatures shall receive English names ending in "eon". - NP Chilla 16:30, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- I agree.HHS.student
- Yeah, or Floreon. But anyway, shouldn't there be a comment in the article that there is a chance its english name will contain the suffix "-eon" since all of the other eevee evos did, but it is not confirmed... or something. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.219.46.159 (talk) 03:10, 14 March 2007 (UTC).
- It's not a guarantee, 71. -Jeske (v^_^v) 03:13, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Name change
[edit]Even though the names of all the previous Eevee evolutions have concluded with the suffix -eon, this is speculation and we can't just assume that Leafia is going to be the same way. Wait until its name is confirmed before making this change. Ksy92003 05:02, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- It has been confirmed--Tempest115 18:10, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Where?. Please cite something other than "several reputable sites", as this would help with verification.—M_C_Y_1008 (talk/contribs) 20:17, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
The names have been leaked: http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/newpokes.shtml
But they haven't been "officially" confirmed by Nintendo. I don't care what anyone is planning, I'm going by what Nintendo says. -Jeske (v^_^v) 12:42, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Description
[edit]What with the official artwork and all, does anyone think that the description of the appearance could be elaborated a bit further?- Floramage! 16:17, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Leafia/Glacia's true american name
[edit]Leafia and Glacia's american name has been confirmed to be Leafeon and Glaceon by Nintendo. You can check www.cheatplanet.gamesradar.com and search Pokemon Pearl or Diamond, and it will have their true names under week 21. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.248.246.89 (talk • contribs).
- No it hasn't, as cheatplanet is by no means official. Next! -Jeske (v^_^v) 15:27, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Check serebii.net they have them down as Leafeon and Glaceon —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.103.5.60 (talk • contribs).
- Serebii fails ATT, too. -Jeske (v^_^v) 04:43, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
