Highest village in Scotland?
[edit]Growing up in the area and regularly visiting both Wanlockhead and Leadhills, I learnt that Leadhills was the highest village in Scotland, and the second was Wanlockhead. Tomintoul was a distant third, being only able to claim the title of "highest village in the Highlands" (1132 ft). The current articles on both Wanlockhead (1304 ft) and Leadhills (1460 ft) claim "second highest", with no reference to "highest", though the Tomintoul entry awards the title to Wanlockhead! Should we not clarify this issue? Anarchie76 (talk) 21:50, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
