Dispute on space in name

[edit]

The official US Census says the name of this settlement is LeRaysville (with no space) rather than Le Raysville.

It seems that everywhere else I look, it is two words, but, the census publishes this town as one word. They have been known to make typos in the past, such is the case with Mineralwells, West Virginia, and 'Port Gamble Tribal Comunity on [https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table?g=1600000US5355612%248600000&tid=DECENNIALSF12010.P1]

Although this could be a typo, the Census is usually the deciding factor in town name info, as they manage the data for communities around the US.

Above is a link to the Census Page for LeRaysville, showing it as one word. Thoughts? Should the page name be changed? I have created a redirect for now. BhamBoi (talk) 20:23, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
