Again with the untranslated sections
[edit]Untitled
[edit]I noticed to my consternation that the Wikipedia article about 'Sarrasine' was nothing more than a scant summary of its reception and a long untranslated passage. When I come to look at this page, I notice that a number of passages in untranslated French have crept in here too. I wonder as a professional translator what good this does for a monolingual reader, who may be looking for background information on the novel, or perhaps a set of critical opinions. Yes, it may reinforce the pride of some contributors who are glad that they know French, but this is an English language encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.98.230.115 (talk) 03:54, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
