Padding?

Several figures in this article show that LeNet(5) uses a 2px padding on the input image so that the output is 28x28 with an input of 28x28 and a kernel of 5x5 (which is odd because the 2nd layer doesn't use padding). However, the reference paper by LeCun clearly shows that the input is 32x32, not 28x28, so it uses no padding. (That figure is also used in this article.)
