History
[edit]I added the "History" section. I hope I referenced my sources correctly.Stizz 18:04, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I looked for the article [Hendrick, James P.; Allen, William (1984). "The Visual Stimulation in Academic Dissemination". The Journal of Educational Research. 6: 753], but it does not seem to exist. In 1984 the Journal was on volume 77 and had less than 400 pages per year. I also checked the "International Journal of Educational Research", but their first paper was published in 1986. On Google the only results come directly from this article. I also could not find anything about the research anywhere else. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:4CA0:0:F294:287D:EA08:C808:3EC6 (talk) 17:32, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- Also tried looking for it. William H. Allen seems to be a researcher who was at one point at the University of Southern California, who at one time worked on visual and audio aid with respect to education. So that's plausible. But I can find nothing on James P. Hendrick. And the Journal of Educational Research hasn't had any work with this citation; checked all of the issues in 1984. Seems entirely unsourced, and not that useful anyways; removing the passage. Fawly (talk) 21:36, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
