[edit]See this for a start of a conversation
MountainR and Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi this is a better place to continue this conversation. MountainR please do not remove the reference again without coming to an agreement. Discuss your concerns here. ~ GB fan 17:13, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks GB fan- obvious move missed there by me, apologies.
- @MountainR:- do you mind if I ask a personal question- but are you Dutch, too? I ask because I think an 'easy' (ready-made!) way of sorting out the question of references would be to use this Googlenews search- there are loads of (reliable-looking) news reports about him, in Dutch. Can you use them? — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 17:15, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- No problem, just thought it would be better to have the conversation here so that it stays with the page. ~ GB fan 17:17, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- Ha ha, I apologize, it indeed did reference to Laurens van Rooyen, although not too clearly, I had to search very, very closely. But it did, fair enough. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by MountainR (talk • contribs) 17:23, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- @MountainR: Yes, fair enough! I forgot that it was like an old scrapbook back then!!! Got your microscope out, eh?! ;) Now- what do you think about the Dutch news references- any good? — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 17:37, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I added one, but... they are all in Dutch! — Preceding unsigned comment added by MountainR (talk • contribs) 17:54, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- Ah... and you're not? — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 17:57, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- (edit conflict)That is ok, especially when there are no equivalent references in English. (I added a Dutch-language reference for the Order of the Lion, earlier today.) --bonadea contributions talk 17:58, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Bonadea: Indeed; although it would be useful to know exactly what they were referencing and where :) — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 18:00, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi: Well, that's not that hard to find out. Translation software is useless for most purposes but if you want the gist of a foreign-language text it works. (Especially with a language like Dutch that is close to English ;) ) --bonadea contributions talk 18:04, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
- Oooh. I don't get involved in these forrin' langwidges ;) — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 18:20, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
