Gardiner Park designed by the firm of Frederick Law Olmsted?

[edit]

One occasionally sees Gardiner Park in Laurel referred to as a park that was designed by the firm of Frederick Law Olmsted (if not by Olmsted himself). See this 2014 article from the Laurel Leader-Call, for example. However, I'm not sure whether this is true or well-documented. If this can be verified, it would be worth noting in the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.53.234.153 (talk) 15:06, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blakeney famous?

[edit]

Brandon Blakeney has been listed as a famous resident, and a web page from the radio station where he works is provided as a reference. More information is required. Are there reliable, third party sources that confirm Blakeney's fame, rather than just his occupation? —ADavidB 11:33, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not all notable persons listed were born or are living in Laurel

[edit]

I think that the list of notables should be edited to delete those names of persons not actually born in Laurel, or those not currently living there, i.e. Mary Louise Parker. 72.11.50.113 (talk) 19:09, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
