Her surname is not Sodi
[edit]Her complete name is Laura Guadalupe Zapata Miranda. She is NOT daughter of Ernesto Sodi, but yes of Yolanda Miranda. Refer to Hispanic World of Musicians and Actors --Zoltan 20:40, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Sister??
[edit]she's Thalia's mother who was raised as her younger sister —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.32.31.219 (talk) 02:50, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
She was born in 1952 and not in 1956
[edit]I just let you know that her 'real year of birth is 1952, and not 1956. How do I know it? Well, it's a fact that between her and her sister, Thalía, there are 19 years of age difference; it's also a fact, that Thalía was born in 1971. So, Laura Zapata was born in 1952 and not 1956. If you have access to the Mexican Phone Suscribers' Database, you can also check what I'm saying. --El Mexicano (talk) 13:49, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Incorrect phonetic transcription of her name
[edit]The phonetic transcription is correct in European spanish, ˈlauɾa ɣwaðaˈlupe θaˈpata miˈɾanda, but in mexican spanish (she's mexican) would be: ˈlauɾa ɣwaðaˈlupe saˈpata miˈɾanda — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.141.137.176 (talk) 15:50, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
