Does Laura Nirider fit Notability Guidelines? - Arguments in favour
This draft article has been previously rejected from becoming a full article due to not fitting notability criteria. One argument used against publishing was that “While "Making of a Murderer"[sic] is notable, references to Laura are fleeting and adjacent” User:DavidWestT. I have since added more references which discuss Laura Nirider and her opinions/actions throughout the whole article. Many references indeed only mention Nirider for a few quotes or perhaps even in passing, however many references focus totally on Nirider and her work. I have listed some of these below in defence of Nirider’s notability:
References which discuss Nirider as a major or total portion of the article:
2, 6, 7, 11, 25, 26.
References which are dedicated interviews of Nirider:
3 (Northwestern University publication), 9 (Forbes), 14 (Innocence Project), 15 (BBC), 24 (Bustle).
References which interview Nirider and further discuss aspects of her life beyond Making a Murderer:
8 (Flare), 19 (Precedent).
I imagine that Nirider’s notability will be marginal on either side of the threshold so this could be a discussion that may continue until she gains more prominence in the world of law or media.
