[edit]

Were the Lattees really used for housing support, how were they built, why were they stopped?

This bears alot of similarities with how common wooden storehouses (for lack of a better word) were built here in Norway and the rest of scandinavia. Ill refer to this article which is in Norwegian http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stabbur A similar article can also be found in English http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Stabbur —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.208.111.196 (talk) 22:55, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Latte Stone in Pop Culture

[edit]

Should there be any references to how the latte stone is is perceived in popular culture? They may not be as famous as, say, Stonehenge, or The Giza Pyramids, but it seems like some musical circles make references to these icons in their pop music. There is a pop song that I have heard a few years ago that had the lyrics "Like a latte stone/it supports your home/Friends are a must/'cuz they are the people you trust." I unfortunately can't remember the band that made this song, or even the name, but some musicians seem to be inspired by the traditions surrounding the latte stones. Any thoughts? 50.36.66.31 (talk) 03:27, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
