Apologia pro versione piana
[edit]I removed the following from the Versio Piana section. It is stating, as fact, an implied and biased informal point of view, without any sources or alternative viewpoint. (See [[1]]) Mmortal03 06:05, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Its defenders contend that if you are going to pray to God, if you are not using the Hebrew original you are supposed to use the translation that is closest to the Hebrew, and if it is Latin, you should use the noblest style of the Latin language, which is that of Cicero. God deserves no less. Discoveries through the many centuries have made it possible to have such a "state-of-the-art" Latin version which is the Versio Piana, that of Cardinal Bea, published by order of Pope Pius XII.

External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Latin Psalters. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20080508233358/http://www.kellerbook.com:80/LANGUA~1.HTM to http://www.kellerbook.com/LANGUA~1.HTM
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
